Meet Castilla La Mancha

The five provinces of Castilla-La Mancha occupy much of southern Submeseta divided by the valleys of the Tajo and Guadiana. Highlights The relief consists of the Montes de Toledo. North of Guadalajara is a mountain haw belonging to the Central System (Sierra de Pela, Ayllón, Somosierra). Of its national parks and include Barranco del Rio Dulce, Alto Tajo, Serrania de Cuenca, Cabañeros, Tables of Coldstream, Ruidera, Calar del Río Mundo and Sima. Castilla-La Mancha is spread over an area of about 80,000 km2, which is divided among five provinces: Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara and Toledo. Its location in the heart of the Iberian peninsula, lets abut various Spanish Autonomous Communities: Castilla y León, Madrid and Aragon in the north, Andalusia, south of Valencia and Murcia, on the east and Extremadura in the west. His intense medieval history, marked by events and rivalries, has left an indelible mark on these lands: castles and forts, palaces, cathedrals, churches ... Don Miguel de Cervantes chose to develop in them his immortal "Don Quixote." Today, both conventional and adventure tourism in this community are extraordinary possibilities for shelter and enjoyment.
